The only clue was a name, and an array of bizarre psychic abilities.

Your life has been simple and secluded, living in an isolated cabin and assisting Carter in tracking down missing persons. You’ve always been content with this quiet existence, never feeling the need to delve deeper into the mysteries surrounding your identity.

However, the disappearance of a local teenager named Casey Powell and a recent attempt on your foster father’s life shatter your peaceful world, marking the beginning of a new and tumultuous chapter in your life.

Immersive Urban Fantasy

In “The Second Sight,” you assume the role of a psychic with extraordinary powers that have always set you apart. These powers will thrust you into a world that is both familiar and strange, filled with magic, witches, fae, demons, and the unknown.

You can personalize your protagonist’s appearance and choose how they interact with others. You’ll also decide whether to rely on logic or intuition to solve the challenges you face. The story includes three potential love interests, whose genders will be determined by your choices when you meet them.

Characters

Jacob Carter: In his late forties, Carter is a gruff but fiercely protective figure. Despite his harsh exterior, he has gone to great lengths to provide a decent life for you, a child who isn’t even his own. His past remains a mystery, and it’s a topic he avoids discussing.

Renard/Rowan: Appearing to be in their late twenties or early thirties, Renard/Rowan is tall, slender, and has striking white-blonde hair and gold eyes. Their demeanor is playful and witty, making interactions feel like a game of cat and mouse. They are enigmatic and unpredictable, always keeping you on your toes.

Zander/Zora: In their late twenties or early thirties, Zander/Zora has umber brown skin, black locs, and grey eyes. They are gentle, resolute, and kind, with a soft-spoken politeness that contrasts with the typical image of an agent from the Magic and Anomalies Bureau. Zander/Zora is Carter’s former apprentice and seems to unsettle the old man in ways you can’t quite understand.

Unknown aka “The Kestrel”: The Kestrel is an enigma with an unknown age and definitely non-human. With black hair and blue eyes, they exude an elegant and powerful presence. It’s unclear whether they are a formidable ally or a deadly enemy, but their ability as a dreamwalker makes them a significant figure in your life, one who has likely been watching you for longer than you’re comfortable with.
