The House of Echoes is an immersive text-based adventure game created using Python. This project marked my first foray into Python programming, blending my passion for storytelling with coding skills. I designed it as a learning experience to delve deeper into both programming and narrative crafting.

In The House of Echoes, players assume the role of Alex, a distant relative of the enigmatic Eldred family. The story begins with a mysterious letter from an estranged grandmother, drawing Alex to the eerie Eldred Manor. The player must navigate through the manor’s labyrinthine corridors, solve puzzles, and interact with trapped souls to uncover the dark history behind the family’s disappearance.

Interactive Elements

The gameplay involves a series of choices that influence the narrative’s progression and multiple possible endings. Players must confront the eerie presence of The Whisperer, a malevolent entity, as they piece together the family’s tragic tale. Each decision made by the player impacts the overall outcome, adding depth to the storytelling experience.

Technical Implementation

This project leverages Python to handle player input, control the story’s progression, and create an atmospheric environment.
