In a world where a single kiss can seal your fate, you find yourself entwined with the Devil, awakened as a witch in the cursed realm of Parcae. Bound by an ancient prophecy, your journey begins with a mysterious awakening under the light of two moons. The path ahead is shrouded in riddles: when the old wall whispers its secrets and the sun’s right hand guides you, the empire’s heart and the magic’s conduit await your discovery. To save Parcae from its impending doom within ten weeks, you must face three trials: Trust, Courage, and Honesty, all while navigating the complex web of relationships within your unlikely team.
Game Overview
Forever Yours, The Devil is a dark fantasy visual novel that blends strategy, team-building, and romance. This demo offers a glimpse into the tragic world of Parcae, cursed to end with each winter by the Devil’s hand. Inspired by the turn-based mechanics and time dynamics of games such as Bad End Theatre and Slay the Princess, this game promises an immersive experience. Created in just one month for the Sealed With a Kiss 2025 game jam by DevTalk, it sets the stage for an epic adventure.
The Creative Team
The project is led by Emily Lin, who serves as the Producer, Director, Lead Designer, Writer, and Developer. Amelia Lin takes on the role of Lead Developer. CryoAngell, known from Tumblr and Twitter, contributed as the Concept Artist for characters, the Official Soundtrack Cover Artist, and even voiced characters like Angel/Devil and Knight, while also participating as a Playtester and Beta Reader. MercuryRunes and Grimm Monstrum also played crucial roles as Character Designers, Playtesters, Beta Readers, and in Narrative Design. Starryentity, found on Instagram and Toyhou.se, handled Concept and Background Art, Cover and CG Art, and co-created sprites. Thomas Bromell and Collin Caflisch contributed to background art and game design, with Caflisch also voicing characters like Duke and Wizard. Sarah Canlas designed backgrounds and participated in playtesting and beta reading. The soundtrack was composed by Austin Nordhaus, with sound assets from Freesound.org and art assets from Canva Pro and Unsplash.
