This game is a mature, romance-driven narrative (rated 18+) that follows the journey of a Pictish druid who infiltrates the Roman Legion. Although the public demo does not include mature content, the full game will be intended for adult audiences only.

The Storyline

You are one of the few remaining members of your tribe, which was devastated by the Roman Empire. Driven by a thirst for vengeance, you join the Legion under an assumed identity and a fabricated past. Now, as a foreigner fighting for the Empire, you find yourself isolated and surrounded by enemies. An unfamiliar voice in your head tempts you to commit acts of violence, testing your resolve and willpower. Will you resist this influence and uncover the identity of this mysterious voice? Can you forgive those who have wronged you, or will you remain consumed by hatred? Is it possible to find love and friendship in the unlikeliest of places? And can you ultimately heal from the traumas of your past?

Character Customization and Interactions

You have the option to customize your Pictish character, choosing their sex, gender, and sexuality. As you navigate the complexities of the Legion, you must decide whether to manipulate or befriend your enemies and their allies. The question remains: will you eventually betray those you have come to trust? You can choose to form bonds with your contubernium or maintain your solitude. The game features five romanceable characters, including an arrogant Centurion responsible for your father’s death, a noblewoman with a rough demeanor, a protective Tribune, a gentle merchant, and a childhood friend who has undergone a mysterious transformation.

This closed alpha demo, available to Patreon supporters, continues directly from where the public demo concludes and is approximately 170k words long, excluding code.
