A Tale of Crowns is an enchanting high fantasy romance game set in a Middle Eastern world, available on both PC and mobile devices. This immersive text-based adventure lets you shape your main character’s personality and skills through various choices, influencing their relationships with others. With four captivating love interests, each with their own stories and secrets, you’ll be engaged from start to finish.

Story and Setting

The game unfolds in the fictional empire of Arsur, drawing inspiration from historical Middle Eastern settings and Kurdish culture. Your character is a 25-year-old native to Arsur, where magic is viewed as a skill akin to reading or writing. Social position and class are determined by wealth and education, not by factors like gender, sexual orientation, or race.

Main Character Customization

At the beginning of the journey, you’ll get to customize your Crown’s name, pronouns, sexual orientation, and magical abilities. You can also tailor various aspects of your Crown’s appearance, including hair color, texture, style, skin color, height, and clothing choices, which will be reflected throughout the story.

Love Interests and ROM Routes

Each of the four love interests has their own unique story and route. Depending on your character’s sexual orientation, the gender of the love interests will adapt accordingly. These include The Sorcerer (Rêzan/Rozerîn), The Hero (Xelara/Xelef), The Protector (Ashti/Azad), and The General (Dara/Delal). Each character boasts their own distinct background and personality traits.

Game Features and Content Warnings

The game features a dynamic narrative with choices that affect the storyline and character interactions. It also includes artwork by @artbygaia. However, please note that the game contains depictions of violence, injuries, blood, death, trauma, psychological and physical body horror, sexually suggestive content, and descriptions of animal cruelty. It is suitable for players aged 16 and older.
