The Backstory of Humanity’s Downfall

In the near future, humanity learns it is not alone in the universe. A mysterious alien race, known as the Occupants, arrives on Earth. Despite their seemingly benevolent nature, their presence is a lethal threat. The disease they bring swiftly decimates human populations, leaving only one survivor: Iris, a teenage girl who inexplicably remains immune.

The Rise of an Immortal Society

1000 years later, Iris has evolved into the ALLMOTHER, and her clones, the Sisters, form a new society. These clones are not immune to the disease and thus must live in constant fear of an attack by the Occupants. The ALLMOTHER resides in a front-line compound, while the Sisters endure their isolated lives in the underground Orchard, a massive bunker where each has a designated role.

The team is a group of majority Asian-Canadian diaspora creators with a decade of experience in dance, theatre, music, film, visual arts, and new media arts, bringing their background in experimental performing arts to interactive media.
